Thanks Kenn,

I really appreciate the feedback. I had so much fun with this episode, Arizona was great!!!
I think we have set into a pattern here we have been doing a review / discussion of a firearm on every other podcast. It seems to work for us that way.
Stay tuned, our next podcast will cover those "High End" 1911 pistols.

YAY!  1911 talk always makes me smile!  (And Arizona does kinda rock, doesn't it?)

Seriously though, that was a great show.  I REALLY liked the segment about Robar- I learned so much!

Thanks Eric,

We recorded three episodes last Saturday night and later we decided to make our next episode about the "snubby" revolver so that will be eposode 13, followed by the 1911 episode, then an episode about the 10mm. I spend a lot of time editing each podcast but we decided to let this one go on completly unedited.
I loved Arizona, in fact I'm going back again next month, this time to Tombstone for a conference.  My son Erik, would love to move to AZ, now I know why, this was the most time I ever spent there. Robar was so much fun and Robbie Barrkman was the nicest man he really gave us a lot of his time.

I bought my first gun (not counting inherited ones) in Tombstone, while home on leave.  We took a day trip to Tombstone, and I found a Rossi 92 in .45 Colt with a large loop handle I just couldn't say no to.  I felt like John Wayne the whole rest of the day.

So far, I think you have had excellent topic selections. Mas as usual is excellent in every way, I've been a fan for 30 years. His speaking is as clear and concise as his writing. Another gentleman (I don't know his name) seems to always dominate discussions. I'm not sure if others have more to say and aren't given a chance or he is the chosen leader. The possible selection of topics is endless, which should ensure the long term success of the show. I'm impressed how the group stays on track (topic), it would very easy to take many tangents. Thanks, Dave

ProArms is the first of the GRRN shows that I was aware of (heard about it on Tom Gresham's Guntalk) and I have been hooked ever since.  ANYTHING with Mas Ayoob is worth paying attention to!

I have enjoyed each of the episodes that I have listened to as each topic holds interest for me.  The "snubbie" episode gave great information and is making me consider carrying my Colt Cobra instead of other compact options.  Though I will probably not be able to afford the high end 1911's discussed, I found the show to be great and probably caused me to drool at my desk.

I can't wait to hear the 10mm show!  I've been a 10mm fanatic since I bought a S&W 1076 and began reloading for it.  I shot it in IPSC competition and shot a 500 round self defense tactical shooting class and absolutely trust it.  I'm eager to hear what the experts have to say!  (I also have an EAA Witness, AR-15 upper, T/C Contender barrel, AMT "javelina" Long Slide all in the mighty 10mm).  I am guessing and hoping that ammo selection will be a part of the discussion.

Great show!

I really enjoyed the interview Robbie Barrkman of Robar.  His detailed description of Robar's metal coatings answered questions that I had been wondering about their products.  Ironically, when I listened to the podcast, I had sent the bolt and carrier from my Bushmaster to Robar for the NP3 finish.  The report better described what I should expect and I have been very pleased with the results!

The rest of the show was also great, but the Robar sement is one that I will recommend that friends listen to!

Thanks Bart,

That was really a fun interview to do. Robbie was great. I had a lot of questions about his processes, I am glad that you found some of your answers in our interview. That NP3 is really cool stuff.
