In an effort to increase the subscriptions to the Gun Rights Radio Network I have decided to donate a new Dell Inspiron laptop.

How do I get entered in to the giveaway?

Go to http://gunrightsradio.com and on the right-hand side click on subscription. After signing up and receiving your receipt by way of e-mail then forward your receipt along with name, address and phone number with the subject line "Dell Inspiron Laptop Giveaway" to [email protected]

When do I have to be entered by?

All entries have to be received by  August 31, 2009 at 12:30 PM Eastern time.

When will the drawing be conducted?

August 31, 2009 at 4:30 PM Eastern time.

How much is the subscription?

The subscription is $2 a month, that is $24 a year.

If I am already a subscriber can I enter?

Yes,  just make a donation of at least $24 or more.

If I live outside of the United States can I enter?

Sorry, No but we would appreciate your subscription.

Are the podcasters in the network qualified to enter?

Yes

Why are you donating this brand-new laptop for this giveaway?

GRRN in the future is going to need to expand and to do so we are going to need a certain level of subscriptions to make this possible. If I giveaway this laptop then hopefully it will encourage enough of you to subscribe to the network and show you how important I think our mission is here.

As of today August 17, 2009 we have received 5 e-mail entries with the subject line "Dell Inspiron Laptop Giveaway".

For the giveaway to happen on August 31 we will need a minimum of 22 entries. That would make the odds of winning 1/22 for a $500 Dell laptop.

If we do not get 22 entries by August 31 we will postpone the giveaway until September 30.

As of today September 13, 2009 we only have 14 entries for the giveaway. I will be giving away the laptop even if we do not reach the 22 entries that we need to break even. Your chances are very high at winning this laptop with such a low amount of entries.

If it goes for 22 entries or less we will be taking a loss and will not gain any additional funds for the network. I promised I would giving it away, I just underestimated how many people would be interested in the laptop.

You still have some time before giveaway ends on September 30 to get your entry in.

The drawing is going to be postponed until October 1 at 8 PM ET.

The reason I've had to postpone the drawing an extra day is apparently some have been trying to enter the drawing without actually signing up for a subscription by sending in fake PayPal subscription receipts. I will need time to go through the entries and cross-reference them with the actual receipts I've received from people to make sure that the winning entry is actually someone who is a subscriber.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but as you can understand this is totally necessary.
