There was a problem when I uploaded the podcast and didn't notice it until it was brought to my attention today. So if you downloaded it and only got 30 minutes of it you may want to download it again.

Sorry, Sad

Gail,

Thanks for posting the link to my article on Officer.com.  It's been a while and I'm surprised that you found it.  Anyway, for anyone interested in the Glock training programs, such as their armorer's course, the website has changed from when that article was written.  It is now:  www.glocktraining.com.

Is any one else not able to get the "Glock Joke" thing to play? I assume you are supposed to click in the green button with the "play" triangle on it. When I do so nothing happens (well the pause and stop buttons color and the play button goes grey, but no sound). Maybe you have to be a Glock owner to make it work....?

Great show Gail! I learned a lot about the Glock and its history. The ProArms team is very knowledgeable. I'm glad that you were in the group slowing things down when everyone was throwing out gun terms like drop free and non drop free that the average listener may not have understood. I remember in a previous show where you were discussing how instructions, such as "watch your front sight", needed to be explained to beginners who were not landing their shots on the target. I think that slowing down to explain certain gun terms is much needed to avoid losing the newbie listening audience. Keep up the great work!

Thanks Miguel,

I appreciate the feedback. Sometimes I have to call a "Jargon Alert." Sometimes we forget that there are a lot of new shooters out there and if there is ever anything you hear on our podcast that is not clear this is the place to ask questions. I monitor this site daily and the others monitor it on a regular basis. Steve and John are registered users and when something interesting comes up here I forward it to all the group.

Thanks,
Gail

I know that its late to reply to the GLOCK podcast but I just have to say thanks.  I've been busy with my new glock.  I sold my 1911 and was looking at an XD but it didn't feel right.  I started leaning to the Glock.  The next day I received a catalog that was all on glock, I didn't request it and never owned one before. The very same day your podcast came out and it seemed to weird.  When Mr. Ayoob said his favorite was the G30 it sealed the deal and I got a 30sf.  I'm on cloud 9.  Thanks again for your hard work.  Tell Mass he needs to put in for a commission, haha.

Cool Gun Superheat,

The 30SF is the one Mas shot in the Glock Match where we recorded the interview with Chris Edwards from Glock. In fact it was Chris' gun.

Thanks,

Hey Gail, well you did it again, I really liked the show.    How did you like Az.?  You know that is both mine and Eric's home turf.  Keep up the good work, I always like your show.

I'm maybe an hour away from Tombstone.  Let me know when you have firm details and I'll head down there to meet you!  I'm open on Sunday (though I should really be in church! lol), and work all day Saturday, but I don't work until late on the weekdays.  Something before noon is very do-able!

Ditto for me too on a possible meet up in Tombstone.   I'm around 2 hours away but if I'm free I may be able to come down.
