I just returned from the range where I shot my new, or should I say my two new Sig P250s.  I was always intrigued by this gun from an engineering point of view, but hadn't really considered owning one.  I had handled them in the gun shops and marveled over the trigger and its modularity factor, but that was as far as it went.  Then last week I was in a gun shop where I noticed a sub-compact P250.  Not having seen one I asked to check it out and the clerk handed it to me along with what at first appeared to be a full size gun, but was actually just a frame and top end.  This was my first experience with the gun's advertised, but never seen modularity.  My ears really perked up when I was told all of it went together for $750.  Knowing that the P250 is an excellent gun, being able to purchase the equivalent of two for under $400 apiece was a take it home kind of deal.

As for the shooting, it's one thing to dry fire a fine trigger, but an absolute joy to live fire one. Let me just say the superlatives I've read are spot on as it's a better trigger than my S&W Thunder Ranch .45 ACP Defensive Revolver.  Most guns shoot better than I can, so if I can consistantly hit the 'A' zone of an IPSC target at 25 yards I'm happy.  This one certainly qualified.

One thing to watch out for.  I was switching trigger modules and was having a little trouble getting it to fit when suddenly I had disassembled the trigger.  After 10 minutes of figuring out how the parts go back together I was back in business.

I think the P250 2SUM is a hell of a gun and a hell of a deal.

I am a big fan of the SIG250 too and recommend it for women shooters, for one thing, because of that trigger.

Indeed, Gail.  I'm anxious to get my wife and daughters to the range to try it.

I forgot to mention that the 2SUM included a coupon for an accessory kit containing a full size and a sub-compact magazine, and the Sig STL-900L weapon light/laser for $150.  This company is really into giving great deals lately!  I'm intrigued with the light because the laser is next to the bulb instead of hanging underneath, thereby saving space.  I hope it turns out to be durable.

Sounds like a good deal, let us know about the light after you've tried it and how your wife and daughters like the gun.
