I have a quick question. Do you need new magazines to go with a 357 Sig barrel swap on a Glock 23?

Nope.

You need a new barrel, that's it.

At the range, I borrowed a G22 converted to 357SIG for the giggles.  Damn thing spit out a nearly full mag a couple of times.  Embarrassing.  Found the cartridge to be nasty, brutish, and short.  Excessively loud and snappy.  I prefer my G20 / 10mm.

[Edit]  Went on the Lone Wolf website.  They don't seem to be offering the G22/ 23 standard length conversion barrel to 357SIG anymore.  Couple of years ago there was some concern that the 357SIG might be too much for the medium framed Glocks.  Maybe that proved true.

Mario:

I have a Glock 23 and 27, both of which currently have the .357SIG barrels.  I've shot the 23/32 quite a bit, with no problems.  I've used the 27/33 less, but also no problems.  The one thing that we've found with the Glock .357's is that they tend to shoot a bit low, usually about 2" at 25 yds.

Glock recommends switching magazines in order to "identify" the caliber being used.  I have found that looking at the mag and seeing a bottleneck cartridge therein is a pretty good clue about what it contains.  Otherwise, there is no need to change mags.
