IIRC, that was a 9BPLE.
I'm a big fan of both the 9BP and 9BPLE. They may not be "The Best", but they are consistent, reliable, affordable, and feed in everything. They just plain work when the shot is put in the right place. Oh, I have fetish for Gold Dots, but the 9BP line is the unsung hero of hard financial times and those with lots of 9mm's to fill.
My question, for a 9mm AR with a 16" barrel - what would the BOOYA go with? The standard pressure 9BP run through a 16" AR funnel to give it more umph, or the "LE" and let the velocity overcome early expansion? Or, just go ahead and by those 147grn +P Gold Dots from Buffalo Bore and consider it a special application?
No matter what, very cool to see Mas talk about the Gun Rights Radio forum in Guns magazine. New Media makes more in-roads!
"Macerate" - for a lover of words and guns, I give extra points to Mas for the effort on his vocabulary (ok, extra points for his history, too, but I don't want his head to swell anymore than it already is.
