Chris try Lambic. Its a yummy beer. Bonus its higher Alchohol than regular beer. It is a beer made from fruit so its sweet and yummy

Daeglan,
Thanks for the tip. But I get into enough trouble on plain old beer. Not sure if a higher alchohol content would be a positive.

just means you only need to drink one beer. Give it a try. I trust you enough to assess whether its a good idea after that.

Thank you Matt G... it's nice to know that you young fellas still care about us "Seasoned Citizens". We do need special care & handling. Actually, I hate the taste of beer and it is difficult to drink it. But, it does help my arthritis, and general aches & pains. I consider it to be used for "medicinal purposes only". But, at my age I seem to require a lot of medicine.

We're there for you Chris! After all, someone has to look after the "Mortuary Bait" Smiley

As noted earlier, "Where's GOF's Beer" would certainly fit... although I suspect that Gail found that unacceptable and is no longer speaking to me. Which... realistically... is better than her speaking to me with her bayonet in hand.

Sarge    Thank God I had that small measure of "Senior Citizen" comfort available to me at that time during the cold and rain. Woulda been better with a beer... but at my age I'll take whatever degree of comfort I can get. It all helps the rhumatisim.

Sarge
If you ever find yourself out of cigs, or your special grapefruit juice, it's your fault... because you know that your team mates would cheerfully run through Hell's Fires to get it for you. You need only mention the fact, and we shall provide.

You all inspired me this past weekend... I made it out to the weeknight IDPA match (3 stages) tonight. Two things that made me do the happy dance... I WAS NOT LAST and I DID NOT DQ, what more can a girl ask for?

What a lot of fun that is. Next week they are shooting rifles in prep for another match. Now I have to see if I have enough ammo for the AR...  Grin

I'm hooked.

Deb,
Congrats on your first match! It is a lot of fun, and unfortunately, addictive.

As long as it's a legal and healthy addiction, I'm good with it.

Great Debbie,

Maybe we'll see you shooting the state match next year. If you're ever up in Live Oak or want to shoot the match in JAX. let us know.

It is in the very very initial plans, but there might be another sanctioned match for Florida in the Fall. As soon as more develops, I'll let you know.
