The "carry a mini recorder" thread got me thinking about this.  How proactive are you about finding a lawyer?  I've been fortunate not to need one, but considering my profession (security) and personal choices (license to carry) perhaps it's time to look into one.  For me, I would visit the Pennsylvania Firearm Owners Association, an online forum, which keeps a list of "gun friendly" attorneys.

If you have a lawyer, how did you find him/her?  What sort of questions did you ask to screen them if any?

Mas I know was putting together a group of Lawyers of the type to defend ones self defense acts... or I seem to recall something like that.

There is also someone who is putting together insurance for lawful self defense cases.

I know the NRA sells self-defense insurance. I came across it when I was getting my firearms instructor insurance.

Alex,

Is this what you saw? http://www.chlpp.com/ I'm seriously considering getting this or something like it. It seems pretty reasonable considering the alternative. Does anyone have this or have any ideas on it?

Thanks,

Aaron

Hmmm..... hadn't seen that before. I'll have to look more into it and compare the two.

Thanks,
