I guess anyone can be an Designated Expert Witness. I am just unsure of what he is an expert in. Maybe ignorance and how to spew the Brady Bunch's rhetoric.

Shocked OMG the bullet is going faster than the speed of sound, and will kill you before you hear it. I guess the sonic boom of any bullet traveling faster than approximately 1100 feet per second will increase the killing power tremendously.

I wonder what the "Real" trigger pull is of a firearm that has a 3 PSI trigger?

Oh and the reporter..."It might be used as a rifle when you are REALLY trying to aim and hit something" What is it when you are not trying to hit something? Roll Eyes

When you cater your message to the ignorant, how factual do you need to be?  After all you can say anything you want and get away with it.  Its the ignorant we need to be wary of.

For a moment there, didn't the reporter look like he was trying to work his face into an outraged spectacle once he realized his guest was already there?

That was some of the best entertainment I've had all day. That "expert" has quite a scam going on. Do you think CNN is actually paying this guy for his "expertise"? I swear, that guy must have gotten his firearm PhD from Sarah Brady.

Wow, a host that has no freaking clue what he is talking about paired with an "expert" who is more conversant in hyperbole than facts.  Ultimately firearms is such a specialized and broad field you cant be an expert and not a shooter.  He had some book facts but had no ability to put it in context.  Its like he did his range sessions as a police officer and then bought a copy of "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Firearms Ballistics" and ended his education there.
