I guess anyone can be an Designated Expert Witness. I am just unsure of what he is an expert in. Maybe ignorance and how to spew the Brady Bunch's rhetoric.

  OMG the bullet is going faster than the speed of sound, and will kill you before you hear it. I guess the sonic boom of any bullet traveling faster than approximately 1100 feet per second will increase the killing power tremendously.

I wonder what the "Real" trigger pull is of a firearm that has a 3 PSI trigger?

Wow, a host that has no freaking clue what he is talking about paired with an "expert" who is more conversant in hyperbole than facts.  Ultimately firearms is such a specialized and broad field you cant be an expert and not a shooter.  He had some book facts but had no ability to put it in context.  Its like he did his range sessions as a police officer and then bought a copy of "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Firearms Ballistics" and ended his education there.
