My brother needed some money, I was tried of giving him cash so I told him to give me his pistol. It's a Llama minimax 9mm, I now they have a rep for being complete peices of fresh dung, but the thing shoots soooo smooth!!! Don't worry i basically got it for a tank of gas and a pack of smokes!!! My problem is there are ZERO parts out there and any gunsmith i talk to about it basically tells my tough luck! I just want someone to look over it or talk me thru looking over and maybe replacing a few springs. I live in Oklahoma and almost all the gunshops are snobs and the gunsmiths are worse!! I have looked online and there isn't much help there either. Any help would be awesome. Thanks guys!!

From m1911.org forums:
I PM'd 1911Tuner... he suggests "a 12-pound Wolff spring...and check it for coil bind. If he wants to shoot +P 147-grain stuff...go with a 14-pound spring."

My first .45 was a Llama.  Never gave my any problems.  I got two Colt's Gold Cups now...

Ok I don't know much about the Lama but I just realized that I have a problem and may even need therapy.

I have not used a Dremel tool in over 2 months. The last time I used one was to hang curtains. the rods needed slight modifications. (completely necessary)

The reason I hijacked your post with this nonsense is when I glanced at the title I would have sworn it said I have a Dremel!!
Of course I was immediately excited about your new purchase and was very eager to hear your Dremel story.

It is 2:30AM so maybe that is my problem.
