I played with an M&P 45c this morning and I have to admit it may be the perfect handgun. It's big enough to get a solid hold but slim / small enough that it doesn't feel blocky like the Glock.

The second we get CCW in Wisconsin I'm buying one.

Looking for a new .45 myself and looking hard at the M&P.  Have a 9mm and the ergonomics are awesome.  Some people here complain about the trigger reset but I'm having no issues with mine.  Solid choice.

Steve, you know even better than I do that CCW is coming to Wisconsin as soon as you get rid of that knob named Doyle. Get the gun ahead of time so that you can break in, debug, select ammo, buy holsters and get well aquainted. Getting a gun up and running the right way takes time and work.

It's time to nut up or shut up.

Excellent advice Flop-shank. One other thought S391, why not apply for a Florida or Utah out-of-state permit? It won't help you now in Wisconsin but it will allow you to carry in many other states. Plus when Wisconsin finally comes around, you can apply there and most likely will be able to carry while waiting on your Wisconsin permit. Just a thought.

Steve, I also should have mentioned that the best way to see how well a gun, belt, clothing and holster work together is to wear them around the house as much as possible. If things are a little uncomfortable at first, give yourself a few days to get used to things.
