Podcast

Our series of interviews with those who have prevailed in gunfights continues. In this gripping episode, famed Alaska State Trooper Jeff Hall discusses the cataclysmic gunfight in which he killed the serial murderer who had just mortally wounded Jeff’s partner. Jeff offers deep insights into the mindset required for winning a gunfight, and explains why after a long career in law enforcement he is a staunch advocate of a responsibly armed citizenry.

Jeff Hall demonstrates a double-tap with a Nighthawk 1911.

Very very good... The part about the mindset is worth memorizing it and living it.

Very good podcast.

I never realized how tough it is in Alaska. Seems most people and especially LE have to be made from some pretty tough stuff.

Jeff Hall is a neat guy and that was a great podcast. I smiled from ear to ear when he said he was packing an M-16A1. I'm pretty partial to the things.  Grin

Been away for a month and a half and catching up on my podcasts...this was an extremely compelling interview.  I drove around town for 30 minutes extra just to finish it.  Thank you for bringing it to us.

I actually was late to work because I wanted to hear the whole PODCAST.  Great story of something I was not familiar with.  Thanks

A story just posted on two Alaskan Police Officers killed in a rural village.  Similar to the Manley incident, it is still unresolved hours later.

Alaska is a dynamic and tough LE location.  Kudos to those who take the oath up there.
