I am new to the GRRN and am happy to be here. After 27 years of hiding how much I support our 2nd amendment because I wanted to be a teacher in California and make serious changes on how California educates its young so called "problem children", on Augutst 10 at the stroke of midnitght my teaching credentials expired out of no fault of my own. I am now in the process of saving up to buy my first gun and the training to go with it.

May I say that it feels good to be able to walk in to a gun store with my husband and not be fearful of some overly liberal parent or school supervisor see me. It feels wonderful to be able to listen to pod casts from the GRRN and not be worrying that some watch dog group might have my computer flaged in away that could threaten my teaching credentials.

For all those who think that I might be exagerating about the over liberalization of California and its teachers all I have to say is that I was almost not credentialed because as a student teacher the so called "Problem Children" in my classes went from failing every subject to passing with straight A. So I was written up for dress code violations because on a cold rainy day I wore black tights with my suit and the head teacher said I was improperly dressed because I had on tights instead of nylons. The head teacher was in a pair khykies and sweater.
