ALCON, I have a Beretta 8045 that isn't my favorite handgun in the world but I'm of the notion never to get rid of a gun, especially when it was had for a steal.  Its a reliable gun and fairly accurate but a tad too blocky for CC for its length IMHO.  The most noticeable thing about it is the crappy trigger.  Can the trigger get worked on this model to any respectable level?  If so, is it worth the money?  Thanks in advance.

I bet Teddy Jacobsen at Actions by T could do a helluva job on it for you. Don't have a contact handy but last I knew, he advertised in American Handgunner and Combat Handguns.

Check over at the Beretta Forum, there's lots of folks there with experience with the various pistolsmiths who specialize in assorted guns of that make.

Thanks Mas, I contacted, or tried to, through his website and tried the phone number listed there as a contact.  The site said that Teddy was sick and his work was by invite only due to his health and workload.  That says something about the work he does.  I will keep trying and will post back my results.  Thanks for the lead.
